Responsibility: Managed a team working on runtime dynamic software architecture research and power aware smart MMI scheme of PDA project which was focused on Linux performance and power management of Handheld PDA.
In the project of “Power Aware Smart MMI of PDA”, our team designed a PDA HW prototype based on XSCALE processor and we porting Lineo's Embedded Linux on the PDA with Linux kernel 2.4.x., after that we designed and built optimized power management module on the PDA.

Responsibility: Designed and implemented a multi-thread process model in COSIX.
As a major contributor of R&D group of Chinese Unix-compliant operation system which is called COSIX, I investigated the state of the art of the research areas and successfully designed and developed a multi-thread process model in COSIX which is the first Micro-kernel based Chinese operating system in China.
